What's included in each Negotiation-Ready report?
Each Reveon Health Negotiation-Ready Report includes extensive analysis of rates for a payer in your region. The following sections are included:
- Executive Summary
- Methodology
- Baseline Provider
- Nearby Providers Used for Comps
- Overall Rate Distribution Relative to Peers
- Selected Billing Codes
- Detailed Billing Code Analysis
We find and score comps in your area based on your specialty/taxonomy, with similar employer and contract group size, and near your zip code. This process is similar to an appraisal on your house. The more and higher quality the comps we are able to locate, the more confidence we have in the market conditions. We report this analysis to you so that you know, with confidence, how your contract rates stack up in your region.
Would you let someone buy your house without an appraisal? "Trust me, I'm giving you a great deal!" Don't leave your most important business contract decisions up to chance - know and leverage your true market value!
What kind of analysis does Reveon Health include in each report?
Comp Research
First, Reveon Health will research comps in your area, looking for characteristics similar to your practice. Practices who are good comps have the following criteria:
- Are located nearby
- Have physicians of the same specialty
- Employ a similar number of providers
- Are part of similar-sized provider groups/contract negotiation groups
A high-quality comp must meet all of these evaluation criteria within reason. Medium and low-quality comps are also identified, based on meeting some, but not all, of the criteria. These comps are all combined to analyze the regional market to determine with confidence where your rates should fall.
We'll show you a breakdown of the comp research, including a few example providers out of each comp so that you can confirm the validity of the analysis. You can use these specific examples when you build your narrative for any re-negotiation.
Rate Survey
Next, we'll conduct the market research by reviewing all CPT/HCPCS codes available for your specialty. We'll see how you stack up relative to your peers in the market.
We'll choose the billing codes that have the greatest case for renegotiation. If there's a particular set of codes you'd like to see in our research (for instance, your highest volume or high margin codes), you can specify this in your request, and we'll make sure they are part of the final report.
We'll provide you a set of tables and graphs similar to the ones shown here.
Detailed Billing Code Research
Reveon Health's Negotiation-Ready Reports will provide you with a complete and thorough rate analysis for each of the chosen billing codes. This is the exact information you need to make your case for underpayment to the payers!
Each table will directly compare your rate with each of the comps. We'll give you a summary of the peer median so you know what a good reference point is for your negotiations.
You don't have to rely on vibes and rough Medicare multiples any more. You're armed with actual data. From your region. Specialty-specific.

What do you offer for the free rate opportunity screen?
The Reveon Health free Rate Opportunity Screen checks whether relevant published commercial-payer data is available to support a useful comparison for your practice.
We review data coverage, the availability of comparable providers and important limitations. The screen does not include competitor rates, percentiles, rate positioning or quantified opportunities; those are paid-report deliverables.
If the available data appears suitable, you can decide whether to purchase the appropriate Negotiation-Ready Report for detailed market comparisons and negotiation analysis.
Start with a clear view of whether useful benchmarking data is available for your market.
